If your goal in 2023 is to start your own TaxAssist Accountants practice, then act sooner rather than later if you want to be up and running in time for the 2023 tax season.
It’s easy to underestimate the time required to set up a practice, which includes administrative and legal tasks as well as undergoing training and putting marketing in place to maximise the earnings from your first tax season.
To help you plan your journey towards joining TaxAssist Accountants, we’ve put together a timeline:
- Attend a Discovery Session to fully understand the TaxAssist Accountants franchise program (Do this today. Book onto a Discovery Session here)
- Complete your three year business plan (2 weeks)
- Set up a company and send in your application form (1 week)
- Disclosure documents for your review (2 weeks)
- Getting started program, setting up software, licences, insurance etc (2 weeks)
- Six weeks initial training course (Six weeks if you haven’t got a tax licence, four weeks if you have)
- During the six weeks training, we will set up your websites, Google Business Page, social media etc
- Traction for the Google search campaign to optimise (3 weeks)
- Market research and price matrix (2 weeks)
- Practice procedures and local marketing campaign finalised (1 week)
We aim to have you working with your first clients within weeks. (This is for those under supervision whilst they gain their tax licence. If you already have a tax licence this can be accelerated). The longer we have to market your practice before the tax season, the more leads we will be able to generate for you during tax season.
The TaxAssist Accountants franchise opportunity will appeal to qualified accountants working in industry, tax preparers looking to scale up their business, or have an accountancy or law degree or diploma, as well as those that already own an accounting or tax practice they wish to expand.
To ensure you don’t miss out, book your Discovery Session with Managing Director, Mandy Sigaloff now to discuss the next steps.
