Specifically servicing the region’s small business and individual tax payer market, David’s practice in Nerang has been inundated with new clients, attracted to the convenience of the open, welcoming one-stop shop. Indeed, David has adjusted his marketing plan because of the overwhelming success of the shop, from which he has attracted 40% of his clients.
“One of the major concerns of any new business is where clients will come from”, explains David. “I have been very impressed with the effectiveness of the shop in drawing in business, and combined with my own networking and a high rate of referrals from happy clients, my practice has grown very well. I won’t be resting on my laurels though, and I am looking forward to doing seven presentations at local events in 2018 to continue to get the TaxAssist Accountants name more well-known locally.”
David is keen to establish himself as a valuable resource in the local community and has recently taken on a treasurer’s job at his local rugby club. “I’m a big rugby fan so I was pleased to take on this role. I’m also happy to report that I managed to save one rugby club member a substantial amount off his tax bill, which went down well!”
Currently David works with one member of staff who assists with production work, but will be looking to recruit additional staff members in the near future, to cope with anticipated demand.
Terry Murphy, Master Franchisee of TaxAssist Accountants in QLD, NSW, VIC and ACT, Australia, said: “David has made a fantastic start in establishing his practice, and is now reaping the rewards. He should feel proud of what he has achieved in such a short space of time, and now has a solid business and a real asset for his future.”
TaxAssist is looking to grow its network by joining forces with other accountants. If you are interested in finding out more, please call us on 1800 625 429.
