Joining Options

TaxAssist Accountants now offers a flexible entry framework to suit a range of professional backgrounds and business goals: 

  • As a qualified Tax Agent, start your own practice with TaxAssist Accountants, gaining clients through our national marketing campaigns. 
  • As a qualified accountant, enroll in the TaxAssist Academy Program and start your journey to becoming a Tax Agent. 
  • Convert your existing practice into a TaxAssist Accountants franchise, benefit from being part of an International brand with streamlined processes, national marketing campaigns and revenue-earning additional services. 

Timeline for New Franchisees

To be prepared and trading ahead of the 2026 tax season, most franchisees follow this general pathway:

  1. Book your one-on-one Discovery Session as soon as possible , with CEO Mandy Sigaloff (Book a Discovery Session here)
  2. Join the TaxAssist Academy Program, completing the Training based on your qualifications and experience – 8 weeks to 12 months. 
  3. Incorporate your company and submit the formal application — 1 week
  4. Review and sign your disclosure documents3 weeks
  5. Start the pre-launch onboarding phase including Company Tax License Application, software training , insurance and operational setup — 7 weeks 
  6. Website launch, directory listings, Google Business Profile set-up, social media pages and branding of your shop front are completed during the onboarding process
  7. Local Marketing campaigns to let local businesses know they have a top-class accountants in their area.
  8. Allow 6 weeks for your Google and digital marketing campaigns to gain momentum and to start to generate regular leads. 
  9. Conduct local competitor analysis and pricing research — 2 weeks 
  10. Final check on your systems, processes, ATO and TPB Compliance  and you are ready to trade!
