TaxAssist Academy Program: New contractor to join the network

Charlene Yu will work as a contractor before becoming a TaxAssist franchisee.

Charlene Yu has signed up to the TaxAssist Academy training virtually in her home country of Taiwan. Once she has successfully completed the Initial Training Course she will work as a TaxAssist contractor when she returns to Australia in the new year. This will enable Charlene to build her own client base whilst practising her skills as a Tax Agent (under supervision).

The TaxAssist Academy is a flexible 12-month program offering suitable candidates the opportunity to complete technical and software training before transitioning to become a TaxAssist Accountants franchisee.

Mandy Sigaloff, Managing Director of TaxAssist Accountants, said: “Charlene has a degree in accounting and six years’ experience as an accountant and has recently passed her CPA exam. She has used the time she is spending with family overseas, to kick start her new career as a Tax Agent completing the Academy course. Upon her return to Australia, she’ll have an exciting opportunity to practise her newly gained skills by working as a contractor, before moving onto owning her own TaxAssist Accountants franchise in 2024.”

Charlene said: “I have really enjoyed the online training modules. When I come back to Australia, I want to challenge myself and upgrade my professional level further to become a Tax Agent. TaxAssist Accountants not only provides the Training Academy, but also a franchise opportunity afterwards, which totally matches my future plans.”

If you’d like to join the TaxAssist Academy Training, even if you are abroad, then book a Discovery Session with Mandy to find out if you are eligible for the program.

If you sign up by November, you will be ready to start work as a contractor, being supervised for the 2024 tax season.
