TaxAssist Accountants report busy tax season

TaxAssist Accountants have reported being incredibly busy processing tax returns during the Coronavirus pandemic.

TaxAssist Accountants provides small businesses with advice tailored specifically for their needs – from completion of end of year accounts and annual tax returns to payroll, GST, bookkeeping, cashflow projections and business planning. With locations across Melbourne, Sydney, Mid North Coast of NSW, Brisbane and Gold Coast, TaxAssist Accountants have been working hard to help clients to navigate their way through the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Tax return season looked very different this year” said Terry Murphy, Director of TaxAssist Accountants. “Many individuals have been working from home for the first time and needed help to understand what they could claim for and many had drastically different income levels. There has been a lot of demand for more difficult returns and even business returns, as banks and Centrelink want results more quickly.

“Social distancing and lockdowns have not been easy, but as a network we’ve been as flexible as we can and have offered phone and online consultations and kept in regular communication with clients. We are all passionate about offering a first-class service to our clients and have been doing all we can to help them to survive and thrive.”

TaxAssist Accountants is a franchise and is looking to grow its network by joining forces with other accountants in Australia. If you are interested in finding out more, please call us on 1800 625 429, or email [email protected].
