Vanessa’s Journey
Vanessa, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, specialisation in Accounting, has completed four years of experience in public practice. During this time, she has prepared over 700 individual tax returns and numerous company and trust returns. Additionally, Vanessa brings valuable entrepreneurial experience from managing her own supermarket for 12 years and can empathise with other small business owners who are juggling finances, Managing staff, budgeting and remaining compliant with Super and STP obligations.

About the TaxAssist Training Academy
The TaxAssist Training Academy continues to support qualified accountants as they transition their career into running their own Tax Agent practice. Our program allows candidates to train as Tax Agents including invaluable hands-on experience while maintaining their full-time employment. After completing the 12-month training, graduates like Vanessa can work as contractors under a robust mentoring and supervision program. This experience is crucial as they prepare to launch and manage their TaxAssist Accountants practices in their local communities.
